The transfer deadline is just hours away and Arsene Wenger still has some pressing needs.

Arsenal addressed left back, centre back, and forward this week, but the Gunners are still thin at midfielder where they are in need of a holding midfielder, and at least one creative midfielder.

Many names have surfaced in the past few weeks, and the main target before the 11 pm deadline appears to be Yann M'Vila. The French star has yet to be named the newest Arsenal addition, but that can change within minutes.

M'Vila is considered one of the best young holding midfielders in the Europe, and would likely arrive at Arsenal with a price tag of roughly £22 million, clearly making the 21-year-old the most expensive addition of Arsenal's summer.

Wenger has made a push for Everton midfielders Mikel Arteta and Marouane Fellaini, according to Daily Mirror. Fellaini is a new name to pop up, while Arteta has been in the press for the a few weeks.

There are conflicting reports on Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda. CSKA Moscow and his agent say he's staying, yet Daily Mail reports that Honda will leave the Russian club for Arsenal.

Reports in the U.S. claim that Fulham and Arsenal are in heated negotiations for Clint Dempsey, who is valued at £10 million. Dempsey is often used on the left side as a winger, and was sometimes used as a striker for the U.S. under Bob Bradley.

Arsenal remain in the hunt for Chelsea's Yossi Benayoun. The midfielder's representatives posted on Twitter: It will be Spurs, Arsenal or Liverpool. We don't know yet. However, fellow Blues teammate Alex won't be heading to Arsenal, according to the BBC. With the additions of Andre Santos and Per Mertesacker, Wenger is likely done pursuing defenders.

As for players on their way out of Emirates, Nicklas Bendtner appears to be headed to Stoke, according to Sky Sports. Daily Express reports that Henri Lansbury will join West Ham.

It should be an interesting evening for Wenger, to say the least.
