Even as U.S. President Barack Obama decided not to release the death photos of Osama Bin Laden, media speculation over different versions of the terror chief’s killing became murkier with the 'revelation' that he was captured alive and killed alter.

Al-Arabiya television channel reported that the Al-Qaeda leader could have been captured alive by the elite U.S. forces but executed later. The channel cited Pakistani security officials as saying that Bin Laden's daughter said her father was captured alive, but killed in front of her.

According to the channel, its Pakistani source said no fighting took place at the mansion where bin Laden was supposedly killed.

“Not a single bullet was fired from the compound at the US forces and their choppers. Their chopper developed some technical fault and crashed and the wreckage was left on the spot,” Al-Arabiya quoted the source as saying.
