Lady Gaga has teamed up with FarmVille maker Zynga to launch GagaVille, a virtual game that is being used as a platform to bring her explosive new album Born This Way to Facebook fans.

Zynga's FarmVille is the most popular game on Facebook, being played by over 12 million people everyday and GagaVille has been developed along the same lines. The new deal is certain to make Lady Gaga's Born This Way a runaway hit.

However, this is not the first time Lady Gaga has teamed up with Zynga. In March, the singer donated $1.5 million to Zynga's Japanese earthquake/tsunami relief efforts that totaled over $3 million.

GagaVille is set for launch on May 17 and though very little details are out, Zynga promises that it will be very Gaga-isque. Think crystals, unicorns and sheep on motorcycles, the San Francisco-based game developer said in a press release on Tuesday.

But there's more goodies in store for fans of Bad Romance singer - those who complete certain tasks in GagaVille will be able to stream songs from Born This Way (which, by the way, is set for debut on May 23). Still hungry for more? Buy a $25 gift card at any Best Buy store to play Zynga's games and download the album (plus exclusive bonus tracks) for free.

Gaga fans aka. her Little Monsters also get a chance to win a day On the Set With Gaga during the artist's next music video shoot, win tickets to a Lady Gaga tour concert and plus a signed copy of Born this Way by playing other Zynga games.
