Greece submits mid-term austerity plan to parliament

The Greek government on Thursday submitted to parliament the mid-term fiscal and privatization plan required by the EU and the IMF to put the country's finances back on track, the Finance Minister said.

"The cabinet approved the mid-term plan and submitted it to parliament," George Papaconstantinou told reporters.
