Emma Watson, Harry Potter actress also known as Hermione Jean Granger who made her modeling debut with British luxury fashion house Burberry, is in talks to show her fashion designing skills to the world.

The 21-year-old star is following the footsteps of artists like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Heidi Montag,
Georgina Chapman, Sarah Burton and Avril Lavigne by becoming a fashion designer.

The actress recently said that she would  continue her education at Oxford University next semester, but according to the Daily Mail, the actress has been taking fabric-cutting, design and sewing classes in the meantime.

"Emma wants to challenge herself creatively. At the moment she is obsessed  with art. She's already designed a line of T-shirts and wants to double  her skills to create bespoke evening wear," Daily Mail quoted a source as saying.

"She looks up to designers such as Georgina Chapman and Sarah Burton. She has also been studying the work of Joan Miro to inspire her," the source added.

Emma created an ethical range of pieces with People Tree when she began modeling for Burberry.

“I had a very inspiring teacher when I was at school. I did a lot of course work on the developing world, Fair Trade and natural disasters,” Emma recently told ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com. “It really developed my interest and then I met Safia Minney who’s the CEO of People Tree and we had really good chat. I want to make a difference. It’s really nice to contribute.”
