U.S. Income Report

The United States released the income report for the month of June, where personal income increased by 0.1%, compared with the prior revised estimate of 0.2% and below median estimates of 0.2%, while personal spending fell by 0.2%, compared with the prior revised rise of 0.1% and below median estimates of 0.1%.
The PCE deflator rose by an annualized 2.6% in June in line with the prior revised and expected estimates, while Core PCE rose in June by 0.1%, compared with the prior revised and median estimates of 0.2%, while compared with a year earlier, Core PCE increased by 1.3% in line with the prior revised estimate and below median estimates of 1.4%.
