Omnitech to form 100 mln yen JV with Japan's Sanwell

Software firm Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd said on Monday it would set up a joint venture with Japan's Sanwell Co Ltd with a total investment of 100 million yen ($866,800). The joint venture will be set up in Japan, Omnitech said in a statement.

The investment will be made through Omnitech's Japanese subsidiary Omnitech TSB Co Ltd, which will hold 60 percent in the venture to be called Arham Technologies Co Ltd, it said.

It would undertake software development, consultation, back-office services and related activities, it said.

Shares in Omnitech were trading up 8.24 percent at 171.50 rupees in the Mumbai market.
