Microsoft Corp. said Wednesday that it had generated $170 million of through its 'Halo 3' video game on its first day, blowing past its earlier sequel 'Halo 2,' which brought in $125 million in its first day on sale.
The eagerly awaited game had received a strong retail push ahead of its sale through multiple retail tie-ins.
