Microsoft's 'Halo 3' takes in $170 million in first day

Microsoft Corp. said Wednesday that it had generated $170 million of through its 'Halo 3' video game on its first day, blowing past its earlier sequel 'Halo 2,' which brought in $125 million in its first day on sale.
