FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Net foreign purchases of long-term securities have increased to $114.0 billion in October, from S15.4 billion in September, revised up from 26.4billion previously estimated, according to data released by the US Treasury Department.
Net foreign purchases of US securities were $118.0 billion from which $21.8 billion were purchased by official institutions, and $96.2 billion by private institutions. US residents bought $ 4.1 billion of foreign securities.
Net foreign acquisition of long-term securities, adjusted is estimated to $101.5 billion.
