ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Quest Software Inc. said Monday it has completed the company's financial restatement and filed its delinquent quarterly reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Quest, which makes software used to manage programs and data over networks and the Internet, filed its quarterly financial reports on Monday for the periods ended March 31, June 30 and Sept. 30.
The company was forced to restate its financial results due to improper accounting for stock option grants and some additional accounting errors. Quest said it is now current with its reporting obligations.
Quest Software shares closed down 13 cents at $18.44.
