Harte-Hanks Appoints New CFO

SAN ANTONIO - Direct marketing company Harte-Hanks Inc. said Wednesday it named Doug Shepard as its new chief financial officer and an executive vice president.

Shepard most recently served as CFO and treasurer of HVHC Inc., the holding company of health-care provider Highmark, and as CFO, treasurer and secretary of Eye Care Centers of America Inc.

Shepard is taking over the position at Harte-Hanks from President Dean Blythe, who was serving in the post on an interim basis until the company appointed a new CFO.
