ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Internet Protocol-based telecommunications carrier Global Crossing Ltd. on Wednesday said it will construct a new building in West Henrietta, N.Y., to consolidate operations in the area.

The 90,000 square-foot space will house 500 workers, currently located in three facilities in the Rochester area, which is Global Crossing's largest U.S. location.
The office will be home to Global Crossing's access management, finance, global operations, human resources, legal, marketing and sales departments.
