NEW YORK (AP) JetBlue Airways Corp. shares jumped more than 11 percent Tuesday after the discount carrier reported a narrower than expected loss in the fourth quarter, its first full-year profit in three years and said it is negotiating a commercial agreement with investor Deutsche Lufthansa AG.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) Waddell & Reed Financial Inc.'s profit jumped 17 percent in the fourth quarter as clients entrusted more money to the investment manager, the company said Tuesday.
