NEW YORK - The chairman and chief executive of commercial trucks and parts maker Paccar Inc. exercised options for 200,598 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Wednesday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Mark C. Pigott reported he exercised options for the shares Tuesday for $10.57 apiece and then sold 50,598 of them on the same day for $43.90 to $44.14 each.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
Paccar is based in Bellevue, Wash.
