Iconix CEO Sells 206,500 Shares

NEW YORK - The president and chief executive of Iconix Brand Group Inc., which owns apparel brands such as Candie's, Joe Boxer, Danskin and Roca Wear, exercised options for 253,749 shares and sold 206,500 shares, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings Friday.

In Form 4s filed with the SEC, Neil Cole reported he exercised options at $3.50 apiece and sold the shares for $19.50 apiece to $20.39 apiece on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Cole also surrendered 17,994 shares at $19.43 apiece. Insiders surrender shares back to the company to pay taxes or cover the cost of an option exercise.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
