Stifel Shareholders Price Stock Offering

ST. LOUIS - Stifel Financial Corp. said Tuesday two shareholders have priced an offering of 1.9 million common shares of Stifel Financial common stock at $40 per share.

Shares of Stifel Financial closed Monday at $40.31.

BankAtlantic Bancorp Inc. is offering 1.6 million shares, while Western and Southern Life Insurance Co. is offering 300,000 shares. BankAtlantic will offer underwriters the option to purchase up to 285,000 additional shares to cover overallotments.

The offering is expected to close Monday.

Stifel Financial will not receive any proceeds from the offering.
