SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Mentor Corp., which makes cosmetic surgery products, said Friday the Food and Drug Administration has approved Prevelle Silk, a gel injected into skin to reduce lines and wrinkles.
The company said it plans to market and distribute the products globally. The company is partnering with Genzyme Corp. to develop and manufacture the products.
