NEW YORK - Shares of aluminum producers closed higher Tuesday after an RBC Capital Market analyst predicted the price of the commodity will hit new highs.

CENX	51.36	-1.98
KALU	51.93	1.92
ACH	27.58	0.19

Here is how some aluminum makers fared Tuesday.

Alcoa Inc. rose 70 cents to $35.74.

Century Aluminum Co. increased $3.10 to $64.78.

Kaiser Aluminum Corp. added 16 cents to $70.12.

Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. gained $1.55 to $39.21.
