FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. - Teen apparel retailer Wet Seal Inc. on Thursday said singer Ashlee Simpson will launch a line of tops at the chain, as she prepares to release her new CD "Bittersweet World," on April 22.

Wet Seal will also sell the CD in stores.
Separately Thursday Wet Seal said it swung to a fiscal fourth-quarter profit, while revenue rose 8 percent to $179.6 million.
Wet Seal operates 494 stores in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, including 399 Wet Seal stores and 95 Arden B stores.
Shares rose 26 cents, or 9.9 percent, to $2.89 during morning trading. The stock has traded between $1.81 and $6.67 during the past 52 weeks.
