LITTLETON, Colo. - Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. said Tuesday it has agreed to provide ICP Solar Technologies Inc. with thin-film solar-power components.

ICP will use the components on its portable solar-power products and other electronics.
The companies did not provide financial terms of the agreement.
Thin-film products use thin, lightweight material and can be integrated onto flexible panels. They are mostly isolated from the surging cost of polysilicon because they use other components to derive power from the sun.
