BOSTON - In a March 30 story about the resignation of the president and CEO of the Edith Wharton Restoration, The Associated Press erroneously reported that a $30,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities was used to pay creditors.
The grant is being used to help pay the costs of a fundraising effort, said Susan Wissler, vice president of Edith Wharton Restoration.
