NEW YORK - Chinese solar cell maker Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. said Thursday it signed sales contracts with two South Korean energy companies, marking its entry into the country's solar market.

Under the terms of the contracts, Yingli Green Energy will deliver 1.3 megawatts of solar cell modules to Korea Electric Power Industrial Development Corp., a renewable energy company, by the end of April.
Yingli will also deliver 2 megawatts of solar cell modules to Kaycom Corp., which distributes electronic components and solar cell devices, by the end of May.
Yingli shares fell 11 cents to $19.98 in premarket trading.
