NEW YORK - Sweden's LM Ericsson AB said Wednesday it will supply Brazilian mobile operator TIM Brasil with a mobile broadband network, also known as WCDMA/HSPA, so the company can launch high-speed mobile broadband service in eight states across the country.

Ericsson's American Depository Shares rose 64 cents, or 3.2 percent, to $20.53 in midday trading. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $17.04 to $43.41.
