NEW YORK - Digital marketing company 24/7 Real Media Inc., a division of WPP Group PLC, said Monday it will team with four publishers in a business-to-business online advertising network.
24/7 said it will work with Cygnus Business Media, Nielsen Business Media, Reed Elsevier and The McGraw-Hill Cos. on BBN to help provide more efficient media buy options for Web advertisers.
The BBN network will include more than 200 Web sites, including those of "Adweek" and "Construction Equipment."
Former CBS executive and MarketWatch co-founder Derek Reisfield is chairman of the partnership.
The BBN network will reach about 10 million unique Internet users a month.
Shares of WPP Group fell 57 cents to $61.33 in premarket trading. The stock closed at $61.90 on Friday.
