NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of machinery companies fluctuated in early trading Friday, as an advance by the overall market disappeared after a consumer sentiment reading fell to its lowest level in more than 25 years.
Here's how some machinery stocks were doing in early trading:
Manitowoc Co., down 34 cents at $38.48.
Terex Corp., down 32 cents at $69.21.
Cummins Inc., up 38 cents at $54.92.
Caterpillar Inc., down 3 cents at $81.79.
Deere & Co., down 21 cents at $88.68.
