Tech Stocks Decline after Microsoft Results

Technology stock fell on Friday after Microsoft reported its revenue fell more than expected.

The technology heavy Nasdaq Composite Index fell 5.99 points, or 0.25 percent to end at 2,422.93.

Microsoft shares fell more than 6 percent after the company said on Thursday it sales of Microsoft Windows fell more than expected. Shares fell $1.97, or 6.19 percent to close at $29.83 percent.

Western Digital fell 2.84 percent. Other stocks which declined included IBM Corp, which fell 0.9 percent. Dell Inc was down 0.03 percent. Hewlett-Packard dropped 0.90.
