NEW YORK - Commercial bank stocks were mixed Monday as investors seemed to overlook news US Airways may combine with United Airlines, and focused on earnings reports and the Federal Reserve's meeting, scheduled for later this week.
Here's how some shares of commercial banks traded:
National City Corp., up 18 cents, or 2.9 percent, to $6.50
Wachovia Corp., down 12 cents to $28.69
First Horizon National Corp., up 24 cents to $10.99
Zions Bancorp., down 2 cents to $47.08
