Lifetime Brands Inc. is recalling certain patterns of plates and bowls because they could be contaminated with the toxic heavy metals lead and cadmium. The company's Nautica J Class Red dinner plates, Nautica J Class Red salad plates and Pfaltzgraff Villa della Luna dinner plates were recalled for containing high levels of cadmium. In addition. Pfaltzgraff Villa della Luna soup and cereal bowls were recalled for containing high levels of lead. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. The recalled products were sold individually and in sets both online and at stores around the country.
