Agriculture futures drop sharply on CBOT; livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures traded lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 32 cents to $7.94 a bushel; May corn dropped 8.75 cents to $5.125 a bushel; May oats lost 10 cents to $3.685 a bushel; May soybeans fell 4 cents to $12.795 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 0.23 cent to 92.17 cents a pound; May cattle lost 1.37 cents to $1.0535 a pound; May lean hogs fell 2 cents to 73.75 cents a pound; May pork bellies declined 0.10 cent to 74 cents a pound.
