Cavium Networks director reports sale of 8,500 shares

NEW YORK - A director of Cavium Networks Inc., which makes semiconductor processors, reported that 8,500 shares of common stock were sold by Solar Ventures Partners, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Reddy is Solar Ventures' general partner.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC Monday, C.N. Reddy reported the shares were sold Thursday for $20.32 to $20.51 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Cavium Networks is based in Mountain View, Calif.
