NEW YORK - Shares of real estate investment trusts closed mostly lower Tuesday as consumer confidence declined further in April amid increased concerns about soaring inflation and the weakening job market.
Here's how some REITs performed:
Host Hotels & Resorts, rose 18 cents to end at $17.54.
Vornado Realty Trust, slipped 33 cents to $94.75.
Boston Properties Inc., shed $2.34, or 2.3 percent, to $100.56.
Kimco Realty Corp., fell $1.16, or 2.8 percent, to $40.63.
