Brent crude futures gained $1.60 to $112.10 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London.
In other Nymex trading, heating oil futures were up 2.50 cents to $3.1427 a gallon while gasoline prices rose 0.68 cent to $2.8850 a gallon. Natural gas futures fell 0.1 cent to $10.560 per 1,000 cubic feet.
