NEW YORK - Specialty retail shares mostly fell in early trading Tuesday as several big-name companies, including homebuilder D.R. Horton, reported disappointing earnings.
Crude oil prices also jumped to a record high, trading above $121 for the first time.
Here's how some specialty retailers were trading:
OfficeMax Inc. fell 47 cents to $18.26.
Lowe's Cos. dipped 44 cents to $25.01.
Gap Inc. dropped 4 cents to $18.23.
TJX Cos. Inc. rose 6 cents to $31.40.
