SOMERS, N.Y. - PepsiCo Inc. and its bottler Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. said Tuesday that they completed their acquisition of Russia-based Sobol-Aqua JSC.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition, originally announced in March, was made through the companies' PR Beverages Ltd. joint venture in Russia.
The deal includes a production facility in Novosibirsk, Russia, that makes Sobol brands and co-packs various Pepsi products.
In afternoon trading, PepsiCo shares fell 7 cents to $68.50, while Pepsi Bottling shares rose 66 cents, or 2 percent, to $33.63.
