RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -Specialty packaging company Chesapeake Corp. said Wednesday it swung to a first-quarter loss on a drop in paperboard packaging sales.

NEWTON, Mass. (AP) -Senior Housing Properties Trust said Wednesday its funds from operations jumped 24 percent in the first quarter as the real estate investment fund collected more rent on its properties.

HOUSTON (AP) -Utility and telecommunication infrastructure company Quanta Services Inc. said Wednesday its first-quarter profit fell 22 percent as higher expenses more than offset increased revenue.
