NEW YORK (AP) - Health care equipment and supply stocks ended higher Thursday, in line with the broader market, as investors reacted favorably to retreating oil prices and better-than-expected retail sales reports.
How shares of some major health care equipment and supply companies ended regular trading:
Varian Medical Systems Inc. gained 48 cents to $46.55.
Stryker Corp. jumped $2.51, or 4 percent, to $64.61.
Baxter International Inc. rose 23 cents to $61.70.
Boston Scientific Inc. added 26 cents, or 2 percent, to $13.68.
