Earnings roundup: Deutsche Telekom, Atlas America

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -Europe's biggest telecom, Deutsche Telekom AG, said Thursday that its first-quarter profit rose more than 33 percent on the sale of its media and broadcast unit and lower interest expenses.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Alliant Techsystems Inc.'s fiscal fourth-quarter earnings jumped 19 percent as sales rose in each of its operating divisions, the military contractor said Thursday.
