SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) - Occam Networks Inc., a telecom equipment provider, said Thursday it appointed Jeanne Seeley as its new chief financial officer, effective Monday.

Seeley most recently served as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Japan-based Access Co. Ltd.
The company said she is replacing former CFO Chris Farrell. Farrell will stay on at Occam through May 31 to help with the transition, the company added.
Occam shares fell 6 cents to $5.06 in electronic after-hours trading. During regular trading, the shares rose 20 cents to close at $5.12.
