Sunrise did not release quarterly results because it is still restating results from 2007 after an accounting review found errors. In March, the company completed a restatement of results from 1996 through 2005 that reduced earnings by $173 million.

Sunrise plans to file the delinquent statements by July 31, a deadline it must meet to maintain compliance with the terms of its lending agreements.

Revenue under management rose to $625 million from $565 million last year. The measure refers to revenue from company-owned communities and ones where Sunrise has an operating contract but no ownership.

Sunrise shares rose 44 cents to $22.63 in early trading.
