Adolor says FDA delays decision on bowel drug Entereg

EXTON, Pa. (AP) - Adolor Corp. said Friday that the Food and Drug Administration won't be making a decision on approval of the company's Entereg drug for post-surgery bowel blockage by Saturday, the scheduled action date.

The biopharmaceutical company said the FDA did not provide a specific date, but expects to issue the action letter shortly.
