Dann is weathering a sexual harassment scandal in his office. Members of the Ohio Democratic Party executive committee met Saturday and passed a resolution saying they no longer recognize Dann as an endorsed statewide officeholder.

Dann wasn't at the meeting, and no one spoke in his defense.

Dann has resisted calls for him to resign. Republicans in the Ohio House are working on impeachment proceedings.

Dann admitted last week that he had extramarital affair with an employee that he said contributed to an atmosphere that led to sexual harassment claims against a top aide. Three of his aides were forced out, and another resigned.
