Imax signs 'Madagascar' deal with DreamWorks

LOS ANGELES - Imax Corp., a maker of large-screen movie systems, said Monday it signed a deal with DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. to debut "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" in its theaters on Nov. 7.

The Madagascar sequel will be digitally remastered to be shown in Imax theaters, including some of the new Imax digital theaters that are set to launch over the summer.

Other DreamWorks films set for Imax releases include "Kung Fu Panda," "Monsters vs. Aliens," "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Shrek Goes Fourth."
