NEW YORK (AP) - Media company The Knot Inc. said Monday it tapped Carol Koh Evans as chief operating officer to succeed Sandra Stiles, who was named special adviser to the CEO.
Stiles is expected to remain in that post through year-end.
Evans rejoins the company from Microsoft Corp., where she served as general manager for division Massive Inc., a network for video game advertising.
She previously worked at The Knot in corporate development where she helped in the company's initial public offering in December 1999 and the acquisition of Weddingpages Inc. in 2000.
In after-hours trading, shares of The Knot fell 4 cents to $10.96. The stock ended the regular session up 76 cents, or 7.4 percent, at $11.
