NEW YORK (AP) - Apparel maker The Warnaco Group Inc. on Monday raised its fiscal-year guidance, partly because of strong Calvin Klein business.
The company now expects earnings per share from continuing operations to be between $2.65 and $2.75 per share, excluding one-time charges. Previously the company expected a range of $2.50 to $2.60.
Analysts polled by Thomson Financial predict profit of $2.58 per share.
It now expects revenue will grow 10 percent to 12 percent from a year ago, rather than the previous range of 7 percent to 9 percent.
That implies revenue of $2.04 billion to $2.08 billion. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial predict a profit of $1.97 billion.
Shares fell 80 cents to $45.19 after closing up 4 percent at $45.99.
