WASHINGTON - The senior vice president of public affairs of investment manager Waddell & Reed Financial Inc. exercised options for 25,316 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
In two Form 4s filed Monday with the SEC, Robert J. Williams Jr. reported he exercised the options Friday for $14.63 and $18 apiece and then sold all 25,316 shares on the same day for $33.45 to $34.12 apiece.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
