Macy's Inc., up $1.13 at $25.19

Despite weak consumer spending, adjusted profit topped expectations for a loss, the department store operator said.

Freddie Mac, up $2.24 at $27.20

IAC/InterActiveCorp., up 99 cents at $23.99

Key shareholder Liberty Media Corp. and the Internet conglomerate have reached an agreement to spin off four businesses.

Sun Microsystems Inc., up 56 cents at $13.33

An analyst upgraded the stock to "Outperform" on a lower stock price. Shares have declined 22 percent since May 1.
