Klosk replaces James A. Mack, president and CEO since 1995 and chairman since 1999. Mack will remain on the board until his retirement June 30.

The company said it is separating the positions of chairman and CEO. John R. Miller, currently lead director, will assume the role of non-executive chairman.

Klosk, 51, joined Cambrex in October 1992 as vice president of administration. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
