NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of many agricultural chemical companies rose on Friday, as the price of oil jumped past $127 for the first time.
Meanwhile, the Commerce Department released data showing that construction of new homes posted the biggest increase in more than two years in April.

DuPont Co., up 21 cents to $49.73.
Dow Chemical Co., up 16 cents to $42.66.
Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc., up $3.26 to $207.31.
Mosaic Co., up $2.24 to $131.11.
