NEW YORK - Shares of electrical equipment companies traded mostly higher Friday morning after an Oppenheimer analyst raised his price target on Thomas & Betts Corp. to $50 from $46.
Separately, Flextronics Inc. said Chief Financial Officer Thomas J. Smach will resign.
Here's how some shares of electrical equipment makers are faring:
Thomas & Betts, up 65 cents to $41.10.
Flextronics, down 35 cents, or 3.2 percent, to $10.52.
Commscope Inc., up 35 cents to $52.09.
Cooper Industries Ltd., up 63 cents to $46.33.
