SatCon Technology gets Spain solar cell order

BOSTON - SatCon Technology Corp., which makes electronics, generators and motors for the alternative energy industry, said Tuesday it received an order from an unnamed project developer for a solar cell installation in Spain.

Terms for the 10 megawatts peak power order were not disclosed.

The order has received project management assistance from SatCon partner Internacional Master Technology SL, SatCon said.

The order is expected to be fulfilled over the next three months.

Shares of SatCon Technology rose 12 cents, or 5.2 percent, to $2.44 in morning trading.
